Lithophanes memorialize your photographs in a solid, 3-dimensional object. The image is backed by a box (your choice of color) with LED lights inside to softly illuminate the image from behind and create a black-and-white photo effect. You can provide either a black-and-white or color photo. Color photos are converted to grayscale by the lithophane process.The first image shows an example of a lithophane with the LED lights turned on. The second shows the original photograph, and the third shows the lithophane with no backlighting.
